H. Norman “Young Pa” Friedline
H. Norman “Young Pa” Friedline, 91, of Richland Township passed away Wednesday morning at St. Barnabas Home in Gibsonia.
Born in Pittsburgh Jan. 4, 1927, he was the son of the late Arno and Elsie Schultz Friedline.
Norman was a self-employed general contractor and painter for 40 years in Pittsburgh and North Hills.
He loved camping and fishing at Pymatuning Lake Village in Andover, Ohio.
He had served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was a life member of the VFW.
Norman was the husband of Emily Grace Wehner Friedline; father of Susan Friedline Largent, Paul Friedline, Claudia Friedline (Chip) Dashio and Donald T. (Anita Flowers) Friedline; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Donald Shaw Friedline.
