Ellis: More state money coming to fight opioid crisis
State Rep. Brian Ellis speaks with people at the Eggs n Issues forum at Butler Area Public Library on Friday.
State Rep. Brian Ellis, R-11, provided a catered breakfast to 25 of his constituents on Friday morning in exchange for their thoughts on a number of topics pertinent to his district.
“I give you eggs, you give me issues,” Ellis said.
He said the forums, which he holds in all four corners of the 11th district, help him understand how to best represent the district.
Ellis, who served on an opioid crisis task force, said Gov. Tom Wolf's budget proposes additional funds to fight the opioid crisis across the state.
“Hopefully we will do more and more (to combat the opioid crisis),” Ellis said.
