Helen J. Kalinoski Double Byers
Helen J. Kalinoski Double Byers, 89, of West Sunbury passed away Friday at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
Helen was born July 15, 1928, in Butler. She was the daughter of the late John J. Kalinoski and the late Josephine Mirek Kalinoski.
Helen had been a member of Springdale Lutheran Church since 1949.
She enjoyed bowling and Bingo.
Helen is survived by her husband of over 60 years, F. Willis Byers, whom she married Nov. 9, 1957; three daughters, Mrs. Ken (Sandra M.) Kelly of Butler, Debra J. Gould of Butler and Mrs. Bob (Linda K.) Bell of Prospect; two sons, Joel R. Byers, of Grand Prairie Texas, and Timothy W. Byers of West Sunbury; nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren; and her daughter-in-law, Helen J. “Jeannie” Double of Jackson Center.
Helen was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth E. Double, who died Feb. 7, 1952; one son, Robert L. Double, who died Sept. 8, 2014; and three brothers.
BYERS — The family of Helen J. Kalinoski Double Byers, who died Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Services will follow at 6 p.m. with the Rev.
