Downed tree closes Renfrew Road in Penn TWP
Renfrew Road in Penn Township, between Three Degree and Hicks roads, remains shut down after winds gusts apparently knocked down a large tree that fell across the road shortly after 6 a.m.
"There's a power line down in that tree," Penn Township Patrolman Jack Ripper said about 8 a.m. He said West Penn Power was notified but there was no estimate for when a crew would get there.
