Gusty winds tore through Butler County overnight, downing trees and power lines, while Buffalo Township, firefighters were called out to a house fire just before midnight.

A high wind warning remains in effect through 10 a.m. today, according to the National Weather Service. Winds blowing out of the northwest at 20 to 30 mph — with gusts up to the mid-50s — could continue to blow down limbs, trees and even power lines.

The Buffalo Township fire was on South Pike Road.
