A two-vehicle crash in Center Township sent one person to the hospital shortly before noon on Wednesday.

The incident occurred in the 800 block of Sunset Drive, Center Township at 11:38 a.m.

Shawn Milkovich, captain of the Unionville Fire Department, said the department was dispatched for the crash which involved a pickup truck and a Jeep 4x4. Milkovich said it appeared that the vehicles collided at the top of a hill, and the Jeep drifted down the hill before coming to rest.

He said the female driver of the Jeep was still in the vehicle when emergency crews arrived, and crews removed the driver's side rear door to extricate the woman.

She was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital via ambulance with suspected minor injuries, but no patient condition was immediately available.

State police are investigating the crash. No information regarding the cause was released.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
