Butler's Flecken ban has been made permanent
The Butler School District’s injunction against an Allegheny County man accused of posting a threat online will be permanent.
Per the injunction filed last week, Bryan Flecken, 28, of Bridgeville is prohibited from coming within one mile of any Butler School District property and is prohibited from attending any sporting events, concerts or other events where Butler students will be in attendance.
Flecken is facing two misdemeanor terroristic threat charges for allegedly writing that he was going to “shoot up” one of the Butler schools in a Facebook threat about two weeks ago.
Though a civil trial was scheduled for Tuesday afternoon before Judge Marilyn Horan, the attorneys settled the matter out of court, Butler school solicitor Tom King said.
