MALLORY MARZOLF (Deer Lakes), a former Butler YMCA swimmer and now a freshman at Westminster, won the Presidentas’ Athletic Conference title in the 200 backstroke with a time of two minutes, 4.56 seconds at the James E. Longnecker pool at Grove City College. She set pool and PAC championship records.
Marzolf also swam a leg of the winning 400 free relay at the PAC Championships.
ASHLYNN CARLSSON (Knoch), a member of the Penn State Behrend women’s track team, ran a leg of the winning 4x400 relay at the Kenyon College Classic. Her quartet ran an ECAC qualifying time of 4:09.65.
JENNA SHELTON (Knoch), a member of the PSU Behrend women’s track team, ran the fourth fastest time in the 1,600 meters in the program’s indoor history (5:22.17), less than one second shy of the record, at the Ohio State Elite meet.
HAILEY HALL (Grove City), a senior on the Westminster women’s track and field team, placed second in the pole vault at the Kenyon College Classic with a jump of 11 feet, five inches.
BROOKE LYCZEK (Seneca Valley), a sophomore on the Westminster women’s basketball team, scored a game-high 15 points and sank four treys in the Titans’ 51-47 loss to Saint Vincent.
