Dennis J. Rood, 67, of Lyndora passed away on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, while under the care of the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Butler, he was the son of the late Stanley J. and Catherine (Keefer) Rood.

Dennis proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.

He retired from AK Steel after 35 years as a bricklayer.

He enjoyed fishing in his free time. Dennis will be dearly missed.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Anita M. (Galida) Rood; his brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Debbie Rood of Butler; and his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Tom Withers of Harlansburg.
