Helen Louise Vandame

Helen Louise Vandame, 92, of Cabot passed away Saturday at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born Dec. 18, 1925, in Arnold, Pa., she was the daughter of Matthew Krzeminski and Alexandra Kozlowski Krzeminski

Helen had worked as an operator for Bell Telephone. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot. She enjoyed gardening and square dancing.

Surviving are two sons, Richard A. (Paula) Vandame Jr. of Cabot and Scott V. Vandame of Laurel, Md.; two daughters, Deborah V. (Daryl) Townsend of Butler and Susan K. (Kent) Hall of Chesapeake, Va.; five grandchildren, Richard Vandame III, Elliott Townsend, Dana Townsend, Emerson Hall and Devin Hall; and three great-grandchildren, Arissa, Mason and Jack.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Vandame, who died Oct. 24, 2004; three brothers; and three sisters

VANDAME — Friends of Helen Louise Vandame, who died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Fox Funeral Homein Saxonburg.Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.Interment will follow at Mt.
