COLLEGE NOTES

HAILEY HALL (Grove City), a senior on the Westminster women’s track and field team, won the pole vault event at the Baldwin Wallace Mid-February meet Saturday. She vaulted a season-best 12 feet, two inches.

IAN MILLER (Freeport), a sophomore on the Westminster men’s track and field team, placed third in the pole vault at 11 feet, 3.75 inches, at the Baldwin Wallace meet.

ANTHONY SPRENTZ (Serneca Valley), a member of the Penn State Behrend men’s volleyball team, tallied 61 assists as the Lions split a quad meet at home Saturday. He had 20 assists and 12 digs in a 3-1 Sunday loss to Wittenberg.

TYLER HERRMANN and JAKE ALBERT (Seneca Valley), also members of the PSU Behrend men’s volleyball team, had team-leading totals of 12 kills and nine kills, respectively, in separate games Saturday.

ASHLYNN CARLSSON (Knoch), a member of the Penn State Behrend women’s track and field team, ran a leg of the Lions’ 4x400 meter relay team that placed second at the Tiffin Grand Prix Saturday.

JENNA SHELTON (Knoch), also on the PSU Behrend women’s track and field team, placed second in the one-mile run with a time of 5 minutes, 26.48 seconds. She was third in the 800 in 2:28.32.
