Toni Thompson Mann

Toni Thompson Mann, 65, of Lakeworth, Fla., and also of Foxburg, passed away Dec. 19 at her home in Florida after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Toni was born to Eugene and Genevieve Galena Thompson of Foxburg.

Toni graduated from Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School in 1970. She then graduated from Edinboro University. She was very active in the planning of all of the Class of the 1970s reunions. She loved seeing all her fellow classmates.

Toni married Jay C. Mann in July of 1977. They celebrated their 40th anniversary this past summer.

Together they formed Mannmade Pottery of which they both were potters. Throughout their married and business life, they traveled extensively to art shows in the North and South in the United States.

Every summer from May until October, Toni and Jay made Foxburg their home base while doing the northern art shows. Toni loved having picnics to enjoy spending time with her family and friends all summer long.

Surviving in addition to husband, Jay, are a brother, Leonard (Mary) Thompson of Green Acres, Fla.; two sisters, Susan Trill O'Shea of Lakeworth, Fla., and Vieve (J.) Thompson Jack of Emlenton; and one niece, seven nephews, two great-nieces, seven great-nephews and her cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

MANN — A celebration of life for Toni Thompson Mann, who died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, will be held Jan. 21, 2018, in Florida and also a memorial service will be held this summer in Pennsylvania for her friends and family.Toni's one desire through her battle with cancer was to get every one of her family, friends, fellow artists and their customers to get screened for cancer.
