Mary Margaret Watson
Mary Margaret Watson, 79, of Sarver passed away Tuesday while under the care of St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.
Born March 14, 1938, in Eastvale, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Gerald Robert and Margaret Shoaff Cowie.
Mary loved gardening. She was an avid animal lover, and she enjoyed her years of bowling. The memories of Mary will be cherished, and she will be dearly missed.
Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 62 years, Gilbert W. Watson; her children, Gerald Watson of Sarver, Gilbert “Les” (Mariann) Watson of Valencia, Douglas (Beverly) Watson of Rimersburg, John (Tracy) Watson of Gibsonia and Lisa Watson Mailki of Port Townsend, Wash.; 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Raymond (Kathi) Cowie of Lordstown, Ohio, and David (Kay) Cowie of Rochester, Pa.
Mary was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Cowie and Thomas Cowie; a sister, Martha Nye; and two grandchildren, Amanda and Elizabeth.
WATSON — A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mary Margaret Watson, who died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at New Life Christian Ministries, 139 Knoch Road, Saxonburg, with Pastor Brad French officiating.Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
