John Robert Chester
John Robert Chester, 57, of Winfield passed away at his residence Jan. 1.
Born Sept. 13, 1960, in Wilkinsburg, he was the son of the late John Carl and Charlotte Swan Chester.
John was Methodist by faith.
He was a potato truck driver for Sunnyhill Farm in Lancaster County and he enjoyed restoring and selling old cars.
He was an avid Steelers fan, attending many of the games at Three-Rivers Stadium and Heinz Field.
John leaves behind to cherish his memory his two sisters, his twin, Donna Chester of Fort Collins, Colo., and Debbie (Patrick) O'Connor of Evans City.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister, Denise Chester.
CHESTER — Friends of John Robert Chester, who died Monday, Jan. 1, 2018, will be received from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.A funeral to celebrate John's life will be held at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Reid Moon officiating.As per the request of John's family, they would like to have everyone dressed in their favorite Steelers gear.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
