A Sarver man was placed into the county's Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program in county court on Monday, after being charged with endangering his two children.

Joshua M. Crider, 35, was placed into the program with two years' probation by Judge William Shaffer.

He was also ordered to complete 75 hours of community service.

Prosecution of the charges is halted while he completes the program, and if successful, will be dismissed and potentially expunged.

Crider was charged with misdemeanor endangering the welfare of children and summary speeding, reckless driving and careless driving after an incident on July 19.

State police said Crider was pulled over on Route 422 west near the Benbrook Road bridge after he was clocked going 105 mph in the 55 mph zone.

Authorities said his wife and two small children, ages 6 and 8, were not properly belted in their seats.
