Robert K. Brown Sr.
Robert K. Brown Sr., 78, of Zelienople passed away on Friday in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born March 13, 1939, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Daniel W. Brown and Dorothy Zilinskas.
Bob was a 50-year-plus member of Park United Presbyterian Church in Zelienople and enjoyed motorcycle riding. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting antique trucks and baseball hats.
He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
Bob leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 62 years, Sarah Kathleen Reynolds Brown; his five children, Robyn (Mike) Bunnell, Joyce (Wayne) Lefkowitz, Robert (Amanda) Brown Jr., Hope (Bill Atkins) Brown and Eddie (Beckie) Brown; nine grandchildren, Angelia, Devon, Heather, Jarred, Jordon, Kristen, Michael, Scott and Tyler; and 10 great-grandchildren, Avery, Bella, Easton, Gabby, Kaylee, Maddie, Noah, Preston, Sydnee and Wyatt.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his two sisters, Joan Kramer and Joyce Lee Brown.
BROWN — Friends of Robert K. Brown Sr., who died Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Park United Presbyterian Church, 109 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with Pastor James Bertoti, officiating.Bob will be laid to rest privately at Pinewood Memorial Gardens in Cranberry Township.Memorial donations may be made in Bob's honor to Park United Presbyterian Church.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
