Austin James Grupp

Austin James Grupp, 21, of Connoquenessing Township passed away on Friday.

Austin was born in Pittsburgh Jan. 1, 1996.

He was a member of the U.S. Army Military Police.

He attended IUP full-time, in the process of switching majors from business to sports administration. He had a love of sports and had played football throughout high school and rugby for IUP.

Austin will be dearly missed.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Tammy Osche and her husband, Larry, of Connoquenessing Township; his brothers, Matt (Autumn) Osche of Butler, Andrew (Jenn) Osche of Butler and Michael Grupp of Colorado; his sister, Michelle (Bryan) Frederick of Atlanta, Ga.; his nieces and nephews, Claire Osche, Lucas Osche and Brynn Osche of Butler, and Ryleigh Frederick and Alan Frederick of Atlanta, Ga.; his maternal grandparents, Rita Verlinich and Bernard MacGregor of Pittsburgh; and his paternal stepgrandparents, Helen and Larry Osche of Herman; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and his biological father, William Grupp.

GRUPP — Friends of Austin James Grupp, who died Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Boylan Funeral Home And Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, Butler, with Pastor Bruce Gascoine, officiating.He will be laid to rest at English Lutheran Church in Zelienople.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
