Sarah G. “Sallie” Irwin-Miller

Sarah G. “Sallie” Irwin-Miller, 80, passed away at 7 a.m. on Sunday surrounded by family.

Lovingly known as “Memaw” to her grandchildren, Sarah was born July 29, 1937, in Mars, to Floyd and Maxine Irwin.

She loved roller skating, spending time with her family, being involved in her grandchildren's activities and never hesitated to boast of their many accomplishments.

She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Butler.

Surviving are her loving husband of 61 years, Gerald Miller; her son, Gerald W. Miller II; her daughter, Heidi (Randy) Montgomery; her grandchildren, Kandace Montgomery, Ashley (John) Rhodaberger, Cody (Erica) Montgomery and Brittney (Jarod) Hesidence; and one great-grandson, Easton Montgomery. Also surviving are her sisters, Nancy (William) Mathews and Janet (John) Thompson; and her many nieces and nephews.

IRWIN-MILLER — At her request, there will be no viewing or service for Sarah G. “Sallie” Irwin-Miller, who died Sunday, January 28, 2018.Fox Funeral Home, 410 W.
