Jeffrey G. Koren
Jeffrey G. Koren, 67, of Cabot died Tuesday.
Born April 8, 1950, in St. Paul, Minn., Jeffrey was a son of the late George and Marion (Junceski) Koren.
Jeffrey earned a B.S. in chemistry from St. Cloud State University and a Ph.D. in chemistry from Purdue University. He worked for many years with PPG Industries. After retirement, he worked for Wood 'N Things in Middlesex Township.
Jeffrey loved golfing, hunting, fishing, gardening and seeing the Trans-Siberian Orchestra with his daughter, Jen.
He was the beloved father of Jennifer (Anthony) Barbati and Matthew (Danielle Cocanougher) Koren; brother of Thomas (Karen) and Allan (Donna) Koren; beloved companion of Lili Byrer; and proud grandfather of Kyler and Maevin. He is also survived by his former spouse, Marcia Westfall.
KOREN — The family of Jeffrey G. Koren, who died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.A remembrance and celebration of Jeffrey's life will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Saturday.
