Agnes C. Ryan, 100, of Butler died Friday evening at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

Born Aug. 5, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Harry W. Christie and Viola Frantz Christie.

She was a homemaker and had worked for various restaurants and department stores in the Butler area. She was an avid bingo player and also enjoyed shopping.

Surviving are her two sons, Francis B. (Judy) Roudybush of Slippery Rock and Harold G. Roudybush of Butler; one daughter, Joanne L. Negley of Butler; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; one brother, Homer (Jean) Christie of Grove City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Francis Roudybush who died in 1948, also Robert J. Ryan, who died Oct. 7, 2005; one son, Paul Roudybush; three brothers, Ernest, Paul and Harold Christie; one sister, Elsie Patterson; and one daughter-in-law, Phyllis Roudybush.

RYAN — Private services for Agnes C. Ryan, who died Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, will be conducted for her family.Arrangements by the Geibel Funeral Home in Butler.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
