Mary Margaret Mauthe
Mary Margaret Mauthe, 70, of Karns City passed away on Friday.
She was born June 15, 1948, in East Brady, and was a daughter of the late Kenneth Fair and the late Eva McClain Fair.
Mary enjoyed life and loved to volunteer at the Salvation Army, where she used her skills in crafting and flower arranging to teach others. Mary was an avid reader of everything and she also enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends. Above all, she was dedicated to her family.
Mary is survived by her husband of 51 years, Martin Mauthe; four daughters, Virginia (Randy) Neff of Chicora, Yolanda Mauthe of Karns City, Shawnee L. (Rickie) Neff of Petrolia, and NobleLee Mauthe of Karns City; a son, Garrett M. (Leann) Mauthe of Fenelton; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda D. Mauthe of Butler, and Nancy Fair of Butler; and her father-in-law, William D. Mauthe of Butler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Norma Mauthe Eng; three brothers, Lewis Fair, Kenneth Leroy Fair and Donald Fair; five sisters, Gloria Parker, Janice Fair, Teresa Fair, Lucille Fair and Carrie Fair.
MAUTHE — Friends of Mary Margaret Mauthe, who died Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.A memorial service will follow the visitation at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Mathias officiating.Memorials are suggested to the Salvation Army, 313 W.
