Paul M. Kotuba

Paul M. Kotuba, 59, of North Sewickley Township, passed away unexpectedly Saturday at UPMC Passavant Hospital in Cranberry Township.

Paul was born Oct. 26, 1958, in Ellwood City to the late Paul Kotuba and Julia Tamelcoff Kotuba of North Sewickley Township. He is a member of the Riverside High School Class of 1976.

Paul learned the butcher trade from his father, Paul, at their family-owned grocery store. He worked as a meat cutter for many years at Paul's Market, Milk House Meats, both in North Sewickley Township, Giant Eagle in Seven Fields and Thoma's Meat Packing in Saxonburg.

Methodist by faith, Paul enjoyed cooking, riding motorcycles, dirt bikes and ATVs, and collecting sports cars.

He loved all of his customers, and all types of animals. To his nieces and nephews he was their number one uncle. Paul will be sadly missed by his family and numerous friends.

Paul is survived by his mother Julia; his sisters, Tina M. (Fred) Pflugh of North Sewickley Township, Jill M. (Timothy) Aaron of Clarion and Julie M. Kotuba of North Sewickley Township; and his brother, Steve M. (Cynthia) Kotuba of North Sewickley Township.

He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Steven Kotuba, Matthew Kotuba, Shelby Plugh, Fredie Plugh, Cole Aaron and Julia Aaron.

KOTUBA — Family and friends of Paul M. Kotuba, who died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Homeand Cremation Services, 309 Spring Ave., Ellwood City, and from 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at 11 a.m. at the Free Methodist Church, 412 Glen Ave., Ellwood City.The Rev. Ray Start will officiate the service. Interment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
