Larry E. Beacom

Larry E. Beacom, 74, of Saxonburg passed away on Tuesday at the West Haven Manor.

Born Oct. 22, 1943, in Tarentum, he was the son of the late Robert C. Beacom and Emily Rea Beacom.

He worked as a mechanic for Benke Motor Co. in Culmerville for over 30 years. Larry was a self-employed tool salesman.

He was a member of Pleasant Unity Church in Tarentum.

Larry enjoyed watching hunting and fishing on television and he loved selling tools.

Surviving are his loving daughter, Cynthia M. (David) Jaillet of Leechburg; five grandchildren, Joe Benninger Jr., Russell Beacom, James Beacom, Davey Jaillet and Tyler Jaillet; his great-granddaughter, Ellie Jaillet; his brothers, R. Vern (Shirley) Beacom of Tarentum, and William Curtis Beacom of Wellsboro; his sister, Eleanor Abplanalp of Edinboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha M. Beacom.

BEACOM — Friends of Larry E. Beacom, who died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W.
