Floyd G. McEwen

Floyd G. McEwen, 91, of Cabot passed away Wednesday at his home.

Born June 10, 1927, in Winfield Township, he was the son of Harry McEwen and Imelda Miller McEwen.

Floyd worked for the Butler County Mushroom Farm, retiring in 1985.

He was a lifetime member of Zion United Methodist Church in Sarver.

He was a former a member of the Butler Old Stone House Antique Auto Club, long-time member of the Antique Auto Club of America and the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America.

He enjoyed woodworking and restoring old cars.

Surviving are his children, George (Lynn) McEwen of Pasadena, Md., Donald (Sharon Fran) McEwen of Cabot and Sharon Graham of Butler; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife of 44 years, Genevieve Beckett McEwen; his second wife of 13 years, Virgillia “Jill” Shetter McEwen; and one granddaughter.

MCEWEN — Friends of Floyd G. McEwen, who died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev.
