Ashley Justine Roe-Snyder

Ashley Justine Roe-Snyder

Ashley Justine Roe-Snyder, 29, of Cranberry Township passed away Sunday after a courageous battle against ovarian cancer. She fought with unwavering faith and positivity and she has inspired others to do the same.

Born Oct. 16, 1989, in Monroeville, she was the adored daughter of Douglas E. Roe and Christine I. Adelman Roe of Zelienople.

Ashley was a kind soul who could light up a room with her smile and her infectious laugh. She was adored by her husband, parents and family members. Those who were fortunate enough to meet her, loved her. She had a sweet demeanor and a heart of gold. Even up to the end, she was more concerned about the needs of others as opposed to her own. She was truly one of a kind.

Ashley loved animals, especially “her boys” Cooper, Brady, Toby and Mr. Pickles. They will miss their mama so much, especially Cooper, who was her first baby. She loved cuddling with them.

Playing games with family was one of Ashley's favorite past times. She loved playing Payday, Life, Monopoly and other board games. She especially liked having both families together to play Jackbox games, and she was always up for a game of Mario Cart. She also loved watching movies and building puzzles.

In addition to her parents, Ashley leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Ryan C. Snyder, whom she married on Dec. 6, 2014; her brother, Michael (Samantha Sharpless) Roe of Zelienople; her paternal grandmother, Linda Roe of Pittsburgh; her maternal grandmother, Bernadette (Bill) Brown of Old Forge, Pa.; her aunt, Cindy Roe-Bean and her son, David, of Mercer; her mother-in-law, Joyce Raesner of Williamsport, Pa.; her father-in-law, Steve Snyder of Pittston, Pa.; her brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Josh Snyder and his son, Evan, of Lock Haven, Pa., Aaron Snyder of Cranberry Township and Shannon (Ed) Mackes and their son, Seth, of Berwick, Pa.; her godparents, Bill and Faith DePoppe of New Sewickley Township; and several other cousins, aunts and uncles.

Ashley was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Donald Roe; and her maternal grandfather, John Adelman.
