Carol C. Foertsch Nelson
Carol C. Foertsch Nelson, 74, of Butler passed away Friday at the home of her sister.
Born June 21, 1944, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of Wilbert John Foertsch and Dorothy Finley Foertsch.
Carol helped her husband, who managed several Exxon stations. She worked at Boldy's Homemade Goodies and also helped on the family farm.
She loved flowers, and buying and planting them was her greatest joy. She sewed for friends and neighbors and enjoyed going to car shows.
Surviving are five brothers, Harold Foertsch of Butler, Vernon Foertsch of Saxonburg, Errol Foertsch of Butler, Wilbert Foertsch of Hurricane, W.Va., and Garry (Barb) Foertsch of Cabot; three sisters, Leona Wills of Mars, Mary Alice (George) Shuler of Butler and Karen Foertsch of Butler.
She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles S. Nelson; and three sisters, Marilyn J. Shuler, Adele Foertsch and Dottie Foertsch.
NELSON — Friends of Carol C. Foertsch Nelson, who died Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg, where funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Roger G.
