Ronald G. “Cakey” Kozlowski

Ronald G. “Cakey” Kozlowski, 60, of Freedom, formerly of the Northside, after a brief illness passed peacefully Sunday.

He was the beloved husband of Michele (Mikolay) Kozlowski; loving father of Mark G. Kozlowski and Ryan A. Kozlowski; son of the late Stanley J. and Florence (Bik) Kozlowski; brother of Lawrence G. Kozlowski, Suzanna M. (William) Vance and Jerome M. Kozlowski; son-in-law of Andrew and Josephine Mikolay; and is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous close friends.

Ron worked at Traco/Kawneer for over 40 years and was proud of the fact that he never missed a day of work. He enjoyed spending long weekends with his family at his camp in Tionesta. Ron loved his furry companion, Zackary.

KOZLOWSKI — Family and friends of Ronald G. “Cakey” Kozlowski, who died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017, will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 3201 Dobson St., Pittsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 3058 Brereton St., Pittsburgh. Everyone please meet at the church.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Ron's name to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205 or Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
