Donald J. Campbell

Donald J. Campbell, 62, of Karns City died Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born July 12, 1955, in Butler, he was the son of Merle L. and Alene E. (Iman) Campbell.

On May 21, 1990, Don married the former Connie Farone Hesidence. Together, they enjoyed the past 27 years.

Don was employed by Indespec Chemical in Petrolia for 35 years, retiring in 2010. The past seven years, he was enjoying his retirement detailing and restoring cars.

Don enjoyed hunting and being outdoors, working in the yard. He was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia.

He was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Bradys Bend and the Sons of Italy 1484 in Bradys Bend.

Don is survived by his wife, Connie Campbell of Karns City; his father, Merle Campbell of Kittanning; one brother, Merle (Jody) Campbell Jr. of Butler; one stepdaughter, Robin (David) Binkley of Plum; one stepson, John (Dyan) Hesidence Jr. of Karns City; three granddaughters, Paige (Derek Heeter) Hipple, Leah and Margaret Hesidence; one grandson, Dylan Hipple; and one great-grandson, Carson Heeter.

He is also survived by two nieces, Sarah (Frank) Walowen and Michele (Zac) Boda; one nephew, Eric (Maria) Campbell; one great-niece, Agnes Boda; and two great-nephews, Samuel and Gabriel Walowen.

Don was preceded in death by his mother.

CAMPBELL — Friends of Donald J. Campbell, who died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 707 Kellys Way, East Brady.A parish prayer service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Church, Bradys Bend, with the Rev.
