Gerald C. “Jerry” Bergbigler
Gerald C. “Jerry” Bergbigler of Butler went to be with his heavenly father on Wednesday.
Born in Cabot on July 19, 1953, he was the son of the late Gerald L. and Thelma V. Andre Bergbigler.
Jerry graduated from Knoch High School and attended Butler County Community College.
Jerry was an avid hunter and enjoyed time surrounded by God's gift of nature. Also, he participated in and loved sports of all types.
He retired from AK Steel of Butler.
He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler, where he married his loving wife on Nov. 3, 1990.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 27 years, Donna Birch Bergbigler; his two brothers, Samuel J. Bergbigler, Douglas T. and Mary Ellen Bergbigler of Cabot; his three sisters, Debra J. and Robert Dicello of Maryland, Marysue and Herbert Hitchens of Saxonburg, PattyJo and David Erceg of Natrona Heights; his nieces, Victoria and Vanessa Birch of Chicora, Deela, Deanna, Danielle and Devin Dicello of Maryland; his nephews, Steve and Sue Bergbigler, Brian S. and Martha Birch, Greg Birch, and Shawn Erceg.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
BERGBIGLER — Private family services for Gerald C. “Jerry” Bergbigler, who died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, were held on Saturday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home. The Rev.
