Laurine A. Heberling
Laurine A. Heberling, 83, of Renfrew passed away Friday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born April 2, 1934, in Monrovia, Calif., and was the daughter of the late Harry Neil Magnusson and Myrtle Lee (Martin) Magnusson Bowser.
Laurine worked for General Telephone Co. and Hoffman TV and Radio in California. She also worked at Drs. Mascia and Bauer and the Christian Books Stores in Butler.
Laurine attended the First United Methodist Church of Butler. She was a member of the Christian Women's Club and enjoyed gardening, painting, decorating, reading, watching the Pittsburgh Pirates, Bible study, and going to Clear Creek and Cooks Forest.
She is survived by her husband, John R. Heberling, whom she married Sept. 22, 1993; one son, Joel A. Mann and his wife, Patty, of Chicora; two daughters, Jane E. Aiken and her husband, Brian, of Valencia, and Gretchen M. Bauer and her husband, Jeff, of Bluffton, S.C.; nine grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Archie W. Mann II; two brothers, Don Magnusson and Earl L. Magnusson; and two nieces, Diane Magnusson and Jody Magnusson.
HEBERLING — Friends of Laurine A. Heberling, who died Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., Butler, with Pastor Tim Goodman of First United Methodist officiating. Burial will take place in the Bakerstown Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church, 200 E.
