Edna L. Reddick

Edna L. Reddick, 83, of Butler, died Wednesday.

She was born Feb. 15, 1934, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Edward Snyder and the late Amanda (Eagal) Snyder.

Edna was the last surviving member of her family.

She worked for Mellon Bank for 37 years of service as a branch manager in the Butler County area, retiring in 1997.

Edna loved spending time with family, grandchildren and especially her great-grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and bingo, and loving her furry companion, Heather.

Edna is survived by her one son, Garry E. Reddick and his wife, Debbie, of Butler; one daughter, Karen Schmidt and her husband, Emil, of Butler; two grandchildren, Jeremy Schmidt and his wife, Becky, of Volant and Mark Schmidt and his wife Aimee, of Herman; and six great-grandchildren, Jenna Schmidt and Aubrey Schmidt, Rorie Schmidt, Mikayla Schmidt, Charlee Schmidt and Mason Varner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leland E. “Lee” Reddick, whom she married May 11, 1956, and who passed away on Dec. 4, 2015.

REDDICK — There will be no public visitation or funeral service for Edna L. Reddick, who died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017.Private burial will take place in Greenlawn Burial Estates.Arrangements were entrusted to Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
