Harold “Hud” Leo Green

Harold “Hud” Leo Green, 74, of Butler died Saturday at his home.

He was born May 21, 1943, to James and Hazel (Graham) Green.

Hud was a 1962 graduate of Butler High School.

Following high school, he joined the U.S. Army Reserve.

Living all his life in Butler, Hud was employed by Pullman Standard until it closed in the early 1980s. He was later employed by Gaiser Addiction Center.

He is survived by his brother, John (Kathy) Green of Butler; his sisters, Maryann (Sam) Fennell of Centreville, Va., Jean (David) Geibel of North Tonawanda, N.Y., Peggy (J.R.) Green of Fenelton, Jane (Barry) Schafer of Garrett, Pa., and Kathleen (Dean) Taylor of Huntington, Ind.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, James “Jim.”

GREEN — Friends of Harold Green, who died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday from St. John Roman Catholic Church, 668 Clearfield Road, Fenelton, with the Rev. Matthew McClain officiating.
