Phillip A. Rezzetano

Phillip A. Rezzetano, 83, of Gibsonia, Pine Township, passed away on Wednesday evening in the comfort of his home with his family by his side.

Born in Pittsburgh on Jan. 4, 1934, he was the son of the late Frank and Theresa (Fornicoia) Rezzetano.

Phil was the owner of Team Transport Trucking Co. He belonged to the Treesdale Golf and Country Club.

He served in the U.S. Army during peacetime.

Phil was the beloved father of Dru (Nancy), Rick (Joyce) and Renee (Chris); grandfather of Kristin (Carl), Kurt (Amy), Kevin, Nathan, Lee and Gray; and great-grandfather of Zachary and Nico.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Beverly Gail (Kalmeyer) Rezzetano, whom he married Aug. 29, 1953, and who died March 22, 2016.

REZZETANO — Friends of Phillip A. Rezzetano, who died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Alphonsus Church, Wexford, with the Rev. Kevin Fazio, pastor, officiating. Please meet at the church.Entombment will be in the Mausoleum at Allegheny County Memorial Park in McCandless Township.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in his name be made to Amedisys Hospice Care, 240 Pullman Square, Suite 255, Butler, Pa., 16001.Directions and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
