William P. Norris
William P. Norris, 80, of Harmony passed away Monday surrounded by the loving presence of his family in the comfort of his home.
Born April 18, 1937, in Myrtle Beach, S.C., he was the son of the late Vance and Minnie (Vereen) Norris.
Bill worked at Halstead Industries for 22 years.
He married his beloved wife, Ruth (Smith) Norris, at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Evans City.
Bill enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and motorcycle trips with family and friends. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Bill leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Sharon L. (Tim) Mickle of Harmony, William T. (Elizabeth) Norris of Harmony, Margaret (Joseph A. III) Jurysta of Evans City, Rose Anne Orth of North Carolina and Betty Ruth Norris and Tina Marie Norris, both of Beaver Falls; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Lucille Skinner of Columbia, S.C.; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruth (Smith) Norris; two sons, Paul and Ronald Smith; two brothers, Carlton and Walter Norris; a sister, Shirley Norris, and four grandchildren.
NORRIS — Friends of William P. Norris, who died Monday, Nov. 6, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Thomas Harmon, officiating.Bill will be laid to rest beside his wife at Evans City Cemetery.If desired, contributions may be made in Bill's honor to the Butler County Association for the Blind Inc., 322 N.
