She attended the Mars School District and graduated from Slippery Rock State College in 1973.
As a physical education teacher in the Butler School District for 17 years, Su gave her time and energy to students in many ways, including directing school plays, musicals and in athletics.
She had a highly successful career as a Butler High School basketball coach, leading her teams to several WPIAL and PIAA playoff tournaments.
Su embarked on a second 27-year career as a State Farm agent in Butler that ended this past spring.
She was a member of the Butler Country Club and was involved in numerous charities in the Butler area, including the Butler County Humane Society and Lighthouse Ministries.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Leo (Bucky) Parisi; her sister, Wendy (Craig) Cullen of San Juan-Capistrano, Calif.; her brothers, David (Nancy) Henderson of Naples, Fla., and Bruce (Judy) Henderson of Cullowhee, N.C.
She was particularly generous and loving with her nieces Suzie, Lauren, Heidi and Holly; and her nephews Michael, Jack and Robert.
Su was predeceased by her parents; and her sister, Ruth.
Memorials to the Lighthouse Foundation or the Butler County Humane Society would be appreciated.
