Dolores “Dodie” (Spinneweber) Manny Nickel

Dolores “Dodie” (Spinneweber) Manny Nickel slipped away peacefully on Wednesday at her home in Covington, Ga.

Dodie was born Sept. 19, 1937, in Butler, to James and Stella Spinneweber.

Dodie's siblings included Rose Snyder, the late John Spinneweber, Paul Spinneweber, the late Bernadette Sank, Grace Leroy and George Spinneweber.

She is survived by her loving husband, Tony Nickel, as well as her children and their families, Glenda and Tom Baker, Cary and Mandy Manny, Jeff and Sherry Manny, Lisa Manny, and Joe and Deb Manny; her 13 grandchildren and her 12 great-grandchildren.

Dodie's remains have been donated for medical research as she wished, because, well, that was Dodie!
