Chad Michael Spahn

Chad Michael Spahn

Chad Michael Spahn, 28, of Butler, beloved son of Lisa and David John, died Monday at his grandmother's home.

He graduated from Moniteau High School in 2007, where he studied mechanics, as he liked fixing things.

Chad spent many days at his grandparent's cabin where he loved hunting and fishing with the guys, also riding quads and dirt bikes with family and friends.

His first love was music as he wrote many songs and played guitar, mostly with his brother who was his best friend, and other friends. He also loved to draw, as he had quite an imagination.

We always called Chad “Mr. Holiday” because he loved the holidays and being with his family, to celebrate, more than anything.

He was a construction worker with the mind of a scholar.

Chad was a friend to all, and dearly loved his family but many times was a troubled soul that will now find eternal peace with our Lord.

Chad is survived by Lisa and David John and Scott Spahn; one brother, Brent Spahn; one sister, Hannah John; his maternal grandmother, Jackie Mackalica; his paternal grandmother, Elaine Spahn; five aunts, Jodi, Kelly, Megan, Deanna and Jodie; five uncles, John, Wayne, Joe, Kevin and Rob; nine cousins, Wayne, Tyler, Maura, Alannah, Arella, Miranda, Scarlett, Kalie and Clinton; numerous great aunts and great uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Mackalica; paternal grandfather, Wayne Spahn; paternal grandparents, Sandra and David John; and one aunt, Kimberly Spahn.
