James A. Henricks
James A. Henricks, 80, of Grove City died at 5:40 p.m. Saturday at Orchard Manor after an extended illness.
He was born Dec. 1, 1936, in Butler, to William and Anna Yuhaz Henricks. Mr. Henricks married Mona Greenway Feb. 14, 1958. He was owner and operator of Henricks Auto Service and Towing 23 hour service, which he started in the fall of 1963. The business is still open and operating today.
Mr. Henricks was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He was also an U.S. Army veteran.
James is survived by his wife at the home; five children, Jim Henricks and his wife, Tammie, in Grove City, Cheryl, wife of Merle McAnallen, of Grove City, Lisa, wife of Neal Wagner, in Grove City, Linda Eperthener and her fiancé, Patrick Avery, in North Carolina and Eric Henricks and his wife, Katie, in Grove City.
He is also survived by one sister, Karen, wife of Kenneth Miller, in Butler; and eight grandchildren, Jamie Oxenham, Laura Durbin, Rebecca Woods, Jacy Filer, Ashley Williamson, Maegan Eperthener, and Cameron and Connor Henricks.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one granddaughter, Alyssa Eperthener.
HENRICKS — Visitation for James A. Henricks, who died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City. Burial will be at Prairie Cemetery in Harrisville.A private funeral service will be at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Kenton Shaw officiating.
