Julie D. Osche

Julie D. Osche, 55, of Butler passed away Monday at her residence following an illness.

Born Dec. 11, 1961, in Loma Linda, Calif., she was a daughter of Judy (Bryant) Potochny and the late Richard Potochny.

She worked for ARC of Butler County for 19 years, where she managed group homes for the disabled.

She was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Butler.

She enjoyed reading, traveling, movies, shopping and dining out. Julie enjoyed creating and planning many events for her clients. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her mother, Judy Potochny, she is survived by her husband, Albert J. “Joe” Osche, whom she married June 30, 2007; five siblings, Mark (Dena) Potochny of Indiana; Esther (Robert) Marasco of N.Y.; Jim (Christine) Potochny of Virginia; Michael (Mary) Potochny of Greenock, Pa., and John Herman Potochny of Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Potochny, who passed away Sept. 3, 2017; and her grandmother, Inger Potochny.

OSCHE — Friends of Julie D. Osche, who died Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, also at the funeral home.
