George E. Summerville

George E. Summerville, 71, of West Sunbury passed away on Monday at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born Jan. 28, 1946, in Butler, he was the son of E. Paul Summerville and Pauline (McKinney) Summerville.

George served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.

George worked as a car salesman. He was a member of First Baptist Church of North East, Pa., and the American Legion.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Surviving are his son, Jason E. Summerville of West Sunbury; his siblings, Marie Olszewski of Saxonburg, Norman Summerville of Butler, Marilyn (Hal) Thompson-Callihan of Lake Latonka, Mercer, Pa., and Carolyn (Willie) Powell of Cabot.

He is preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.

SUMMERVILLE — Friends of George E. Summerville, who died Monday, Oct. 16, 2017, will be received from 9:30 until 11 a.m. Thursday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
