Flora E. Buchanan Tebay
Flora E. Buchanan Tebay, 95, of Butler passed away Sunday at Grove Manor.
Flora was born Dec. 7, 1921, in Grove City. She was the daughter of the late Wirt Buchanan and the late Evelyn (Lauderdale) Buchanan.
She was a member of Muddycreek Presbyterian Church.
Flora worked at Pullman Standard for 12 years and McGinley Cleaning at Slippery Rock University for 10 years. She was also a member of the former West Sunbury Rebekah Lodge 19.
Flora is survived by one son, Kenneth L. (Barbara) Tebay of Butler; three grandchildren, Renee (Rick) Yanssens of Kennerdell, Gregory (Alesa) Tebay of Butler, and Krista (Ray) Pflugh of Slippery Rock; eight great-grandchildren, Tyler, Evelyn and Hunter Tebay, Ryan (Ashley), Nick and Cole Pflugh and Dylan and Lyndsey Craig; and one great-greatgrandchild, Connor Pflugh. Also surviving are one sister, Sally Havrilla of Grove City; and two brothers, David (Doreen) Buchanan of Chesterfield, Va., and Edward Buchanan of Newton Falls, Ohio.
Flora was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lester Tebay, who died Nov. 13, 2003; and two brothers, Robert and Kenneth.
TEBAY — Friends of Flora E. Buchanan Tebay, who died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will follow at 4:30 p.m., with the Rev.
