Rose M. Thompson
Rose M. Thompson, 74, of East Brady died Friday at her home.
Born April 30, 1943, in Butler, she was the daughter of Merle and Hazel Shay.
Rose enjoyed playing bingo, board games and Scrabble. You could usually find her cheering on the Steelers and Penguins or watching NASCAR races. Rose also liked tending her garden and landscaping, painting and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Rose is survived by four daughters, Christine McCracken and her husband, Vaughn, of Karns City, Lucinda Anthony and her husband, Kevin, of Parker, Michelle Evankovich of East Brady and Ashley Bishop and her husband, Josh, of Karns City; three sons, Gordon Thompson Jr. and his wife, Faith, of Great Falls, Mont., Zane Thompson and his wife, Lisa, of Parker and Shane Thompson and his wife, Nicole, of Emlenton.
She also is survived by 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gordon Thompson, one grandson, Zachary Evankovich, three sisters and four brothers.
