BUTLER TWP — The Butler Athletic Department is hosting a free seminar entitled “Guiding the College-Bound Athlete” at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the intermediate high school auditorium.

The seminar is intended for any parent or athlete wanting more information about athletic scholarships, NCAA and NAIA eligibility and the recruiting process.

Guest speaker is former NFL player Darnell Dinkins.

[naviga:h3]Run/walk event[/naviga:h3]

ELLWOOD CITY — The 22nd Annual Gobbler’s Gallop, a 10K run and 5K run/walk event, will be held Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 23, at Riverside High School.

Start and finish line will be on the high school track.

Registration will be held at the kindergarten center.

The 10K run will begin at 9 a.m., 5K run at 10:15 a.m. and the 5K walk anytime between 9-11 a.m.
