Howard B. Brittner

Howard B. Brittner of Fredonia, formerly of Zelienople, passed away Sept. 22 at his residence. He was 82.

He was born in Pittsburgh June 29, 1935, a son of the late Herbert and Delores (Gross) Brittner.

On July 1, 1989, he married the former Margaret Taylor.

He was a concrete mason by trade and belonged to the local union.

He is survived by his wife; six children, Teresa O'Malley, Howard (Charlene) Brittner Jr., Deborah (John) Miller, David (Sabine) Brittner, Daniel (Valerie) Brittner, and Steven (Charlene) Brittner; three stepchildren, Virginia, Kenneth and Terry; two brothers, Herbert (Mary) Brittner and Edward (Mimi) Brittner; two sisters, Audrey (Ed) Smith and Eileen (Gil) Rieger; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert Brittner; and his son-in-law, Jerome.

BRITTNER — Funeral arrangements for Howard B. Brittner, who died Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, were entrusted to Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that any donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.Friends are invited to share memories and condolences online at snyderfh.com.
