Flood warning extended to 3:45 p.m. Monday

The National Weather Service has extended a flood warning for southwestern Butler County until 3:45 p.m. Monday.
German Street in Jackson Township is now closed because of floodwaters, and the Weather Service reports that flooding is occurring on the Connoquenessing Creek at Zelienople.
An estimated 2.5 inches of rain has fallen over the area and another half-inch could fall.
