GROVE CITY — The Ben Rihel Memorial Foundation Fall Craft Show is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 1252 S. Center St. Ext.

Proceeds benefit the Ben Rihel Memorial Scholarship for students preparing for medical careers.

Humane Society sets rabies clinic

The Butler County Humane Society will have its final rabies and microchip clinic for 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Butler City Farmers Market, 205 S. Chestnut St.

Pennsylvania law requires that a person owning or keeping a dog or cat more than 3 months old must have the pet vaccinated against the rabies virus.

[naviga:h3]Chefs, dinner will aid health clinic[/naviga:h3]

WQED-TV cooking personality Chris Fennimore will join forces with chefs from Butler County restaurants to cook a multicourse dinner to benefit the Community Health Clinic of Butler County.

“Signature Sensations” will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Butler Country Club, 310 Country Club Road.

The chefs will demonstrate signature dishes. The featured dishes will be served.

The Community Health Clinic of Butler County is a nonprofit organization that provides free health care services for the working uninsured in Butler County.

[naviga:h3]Legion Auxiliary slates craft show[/naviga:h3]

The Lyndora American Legion Post 778 Women’s Auxiliary will have its sixth annual holiday craft show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 5 at the post at 150 Legion Memorial Lane.

There will be a variety of vendors, food, an auction, a 50/50 raffle and a bake sale.

All proceeds benefit veterans and their families, community agencies and needy families of Butler and the surrounding area.

WEST SUNBURY — North Trails Public Library, 1553 W. Sunbury Road, will be a collection point for unwanted electronic equipment from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday during the week of Nov. 13. There are no drop-offs on Wednesday.

There is a fee to leave computers, telephones, printers, VCR and DVD players, televisions and other electronics.

BRADY TWP — Kimberly Vensel, a Butler County photographer who raises Monarch butterflies, will talk about the transformation of Monarchs from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly at 7 p.m. Nov. 13 at the Jennings Environmental Education Center, 2951 Prospect Road.

This program is free and sponsored by Bartramian Audubon Society.
