Donna Lee Farnen

Donna Lee Farnen, 72, of Connoquenessing passed away on Thursday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born Oct. 4, 1944, in Butler to the late Joseph Fedorski and the late Harriet (Wiebel) Fedorski.

Donna was a 1963 graduate of Butler High School. She then worked in the Filter Department of MSA until her retirement in 1997.

Donna was a member of Connoquenessing United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Especially her dog, Misty.

The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Tracy McKinnis and Jill Farnen for taking such wonderful care of Donna.

She is survived by her husband, John E. “Jack” Farnen, whom she married May 21, 1965; two daughters, Jody Farnen of Mechanicsville, Va., and Amy Ramelli and her companion, Eric Miner and his son, Colton, of Connoquenessing; two granddaughters, Amanda Beck and Shelby Higgins; two sisters, Cindy Grant of Butler, and Elizabeth Pettit of N.J.; one brother, Vincent Fedorski of Butler; her loving dog, Misty; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Vickie Kelly.

FARNEN — Private services for Donna Lee Farnen, who died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017, were held at the family's convenience.Entombment took place at the Chapel of Devotion in the Butler County Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the VNA Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, Pa., 16001.Arrangements were handled by Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
