Ronald L. “PeeWee” Lassinger
Ronald L. “PeeWee” Lassinger, 76, of Saxonburg passed away Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
Born May 4, 1941, in Saxonburg, he was the son of Gerald Lassinger and Sarah (Harvey) Lassinger.
PeeWee had worked as a carpenter for Local 500 of the Carpenters Union. He was a member of Saxonburg Vol. Fire Co. and Saxonburg VFW. He enjoyed sports, especially Knoch and the Pittsburgh teams, camping and spending time in Florida and playing cards with his buddies.
Surviving are his wife, Terry (Walters) Lassinger, whom he married June 25, 1971; his son, Jason Lassinger, of Saxonburg; his daughter, Rona (Danny) Dietrich, of Butler; one sister, Gale Kubiak, of Natrona Heights; one brother, Gary (Charlene) Lassinger, of Groton, Conn.; four grandchildren, Jaylee, Brooke, Jamie and Casey; three great-grandchildren, Aryahna, Taigyn and Coltan; many nieces and nephews; and his buddy Coty.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
LASSINGER — Friends of Ronald L. “PeeWee” Lassinger, who died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will follow at 7:30 p.m. with the Rev.
