Michael A. Schultz, 76, of Renfrew passed away Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born May 29, 1941, in Butler, he was a son of the late Stanley M. and Joann M. Puvak Schultz.

He worked at Armco Steel in the carpenter shop. He retired in 1997 following 35 years of service.

He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Butler, the American Legion Post 778 in Lyndora and the Moose Lodge and Elks Club, both of Butler.

He enjoyed golfing, hunting, woodworking and fishing. He also made homemade wine, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving is his wife, SuEllen Cooper Schultz, who he married Aug. 5, 1967; three children, Kevin M. Schultz of Butler, Stacey L. (Anthony) Silipo of Gibsonia and Mark E. (Kimberly) Schultz of Butler; four grandchildren, A.J., Ethan, Cole and Ava; six siblings, William (Sara) Schultz of Butler, Joan (Charles) Campbell of Butler, Donna (Paul) McCue of Fenelton, Sandra (Nick) Temoshenko of Butler, Shirley Harrison of Butler and Stanley (Shirley) Schultz of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Ann Schultz.

SCHULTZ — There will be no public visitation for Michael A. Schultz, who died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler.Interment will be private. Arrangements are being handled by GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME of Butler.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053 or to the Butler Health System Oncology, 129 Oneida Valley Road, Suite 311, Butler, PA. 16001.
