Frederick J. Marburger
Frederick J. Marburger of Cranberry Township passed away Sunday.
Fred was born March 21, 1940, in Ellwood City. He was the son of the late Donald and Freida Bicker Marburger.
Fred was the beloved companion for 25 years to Beryl G. Leavy.
He was beloved by Linda C. (Larry) Densmore; and Beryl’s granddaughter, Lindsay N. (William) Freil.
He is the brother of Douglas Marburger. He is also survived by his niece and nephews.
Fred graduated from Lincoln High School in 1958 and went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force. After the Air Force, Fred went to work for B&W Steel in Beaver Falls for 22 years and then worked at the Bulk Mail Center in the North Side, retiring in 2005. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.
MARBURGER — Friends of Frederick J. Marburger, who died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017, will be received from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh.
